Signing in and account recovery
Your account is what ties your tanks, readings and devices together, so getting back into it matters more than any single setting.
Ways to sign in
Cora accepts an email address and password, or Continue with Apple and Continue with Google.
Use the same method every time. Signing in with Google to an account you created with an email address gives you a second, empty account rather than access to the first; the tanks are not missing, you are simply in the wrong account. If that happens, sign out and sign in again the original way.
Forgotten password
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password?, enter your email address, and tap Send Link. Open the link on the same device and set a new password.
If nothing arrives within a few minutes, check spam, then try the other sign-in methods; an account created with Continue with Apple or Continue with Google has no Cora password to reset.
Verifying your email
After you sign up, Cora sends a verification email from noreply@coraiq.tech with the subject "Confirm your email for Cora". Tap Verify my email in it; the link expires after 24 hours. Then go back to Cora Mobile and tap I've Verified My Email.
If the email has not arrived, check spam, then tap Resend verification email on the verification screen. Cora sends at most one verification email a minute and five an hour, counting the first; tap it sooner and Cora asks you to wait.
The email address is wrong
If you mistyped it, you do not have to start again. The verification screen has Wrong address? Change email: enter the correct address and a fresh link is sent to it.
Still verifying
Cora Mobile checks when you tap I've Verified My Email. If it says the email is not yet verified, tap Verify my email in the newest email, give it a moment, then check again. If the link has expired, tap Resend verification email for a new one. The check is against the account, not the device, so once it succeeds it clears on any of your devices.
Signing out
Settings → your account → Sign Out disconnects this device. Nothing is deleted, and signing back in restores your tanks, readings and devices. See Your data for the difference between signing out and deleting.
