Settings

Everything you can configure, in the order it appears.

One row per area. Your account card sits above these.

Your account

The card at the top shows who you are signed in as and which plan you are on. Tap it for:

  • Display name: what you are called in Cora Mobile
  • Plan and subscription: what you have, what it includes, and how to change it
  • Sign out
  • Delete account: permanent. Read the two notes below before using it.

Tanks

Add, reorder and edit your tanks.

  • Tank profiles: name, volume, type, age, livestock and targets. Your readings are assessed against these, so keep them up to date as the tank matures.
  • Reorder: the order your tanks appear when you swipe the dashboard
  • Vacation mode: a plan for whoever is minding the tank while you are away. Full detail: Going away. You set the dates and build a checklist of jobs with how often each needs doing, and Cora turns it into a simple read-only page you can share with your tank sitter. They do not need an account.
  • Removed tanks: tanks you have deleted, in case you need something back

Device access

Device access opens your phone's own settings for Cora, where you allow what it needs to find your equipment. The row does not show whether anything is switched off; it takes you to where you can check.

  • On iPhone: Local Network and Bluetooth. Without Local Network access, a search for equipment on your Wi-Fi finds nothing and shows no error. iPhone asks only once, so this is the way to turn it back on.
  • On Android: Bluetooth and location.

Dosing Products

Full detail: Dosing.

The strength of what you dose: alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, trace.

This is what turns "5 ml" into an actual predicted change in your tank, so dose maths and consumption tracking depend on it. Add the products you actually use and Cora does the arithmetic.

Assistant & AI

  • Allow Cora Assistant to use saved tank data: whether Cora Assistant may use your tank history, metrics and devices. It needs this on to answer: with it off, Cora shows its consent screen again before your next message, and Agree & Continue there turns it back on. See Asking Cora.
  • AI memory: what Cora remembers about your system between conversations. You can read it and reset it. It appears only while the switch above is on.
  • Voice responder: which Cora device answers its wake phrase in your home
  • Usage & Limits: your monthly allowances and what you have used

Notifications

Full detail: Notifications.

What reaches your phone, and when.

  • Which of the five categories may push
  • Reminders

Reef Buddy has no switch of its own; it sends a briefing only when there is something worth acting on, and stays quiet otherwise.

Your data, and the three switches that govern it

These are not in one place, so they are easy to miss:

  • Export My Data: on the account card, beside Delete account. Everything Cora holds for you, as files you keep, free on every plan. See Exporting your data.
  • Contribute anonymized tank data: under Assistant & AI. Whether a de-identified copy of your parameter history is kept for reef research. It is on unless you turn it off, and it is the one thing that outlives an account deletion.
  • Send crash reports: beside Report a Bug / Send Feedback. The same promise as that row, made without you having to notice something broke and write it up.

Automation

Full detail: Automations and scenes.

Rules and scenes that run by themselves: "if temperature goes above 27, turn on the fan", or a feed scene that pauses the right equipment for the right length of time.

Activity

Full detail: Activity and timeline.

A log of every actuation request (outlet switches, feeds, doses and plug changes) with what asked for it, how it travelled, and what became of it.

Use it to establish the cause of an unexpected change.

About

Appearance, the version you are running, and links to the privacy policy and terms.

Replay tips is here too; it replays the first-run dashboard tour described in The five tabs, which is useful after an update or when someone new starts using Cora Mobile.
