Reef Buddy
Reef Buddy is a short daily read on your tank. It arrives each morning, tells you what changed, and flags anything worth your attention before you notice it yourself.
It appears as a card at the top of your dashboard, and as one notification.
What is in a briefing
A headline: a one-line summary of the tank today.
Two scores:

| Stability | Out of 100. How steady your readings have been over the last 30 days |
| Data | A percentage. How complete the data behind the assessment is |
A low Data score means the assessment rests on fewer readings than it would like. Read it first: when Data is low, treat the Stability number beside it as provisional rather than settled.
A summary: a short paragraph explaining the headline, referencing your actual values and ranges.
Insights: the individual findings. Each carries a category (such as Water Chemistry), a cadence (such as Daily), and expands for detail. A chip at the top of the section shows the tank type and how complete its profile is, because both affect what Cora can conclude.
Insights are filtered before they reach you. An insight has to hold up over several readings rather than appearing on one, and has to say something a single chart would not already have shown you.

When it arrives
Once a day, in the early morning, per tank.
On a day when nothing needs your attention, Reef Buddy usually stays quiet rather than pushing to say everything is fine. A push means there is something worth acting on, which may be a new change, or a condition that has persisted long enough to be worth raising.
Reading the scores
Stability reflects how steady your readings have been over the last 30 days. It measures steadiness, not whether readings are in range: a tank held steadily at the wrong level can still score well. For a score against your target ranges, run a Health Report. Stability is a trend to watch over time rather than a grade; compare it against your own previous scores, not against another tank.
Data reflects how much recent information the assessment had. It falls when readings go stale.
Dismissing the card
The × clears today's card from the dashboard. Tomorrow's still arrives. Past briefings stay available from the Intelligence tab.
Availability
Reef Buddy is part of the paid tiers. It is included in the 30-day trial that starts when you sign up; after the trial, a free account no longer receives briefings. See Plans.
Correcting an insight
Each insight takes one of four responses:

| Doesn't match | It does not reflect what you are seeing |
| Already knew | Right, but you were aware |
| Not sure | You cannot judge it yet |
Feedback shapes what leads later briefings, and suppression is time-limited; an insight you dismiss comes back if the condition persists.
